| Symptoms of a Heart Attack? |
| |
When you ask what are symptoms of a heart attack, please note that they are absolutely not the same for everyone? The first thing you need to know is what is a heart attack? In very simple basic terms, a heart attack (aka myocardial infarction) is a complete interruption of the blood supply in an artery in the heart, and it is this interruption that produces the symptoms of a heart attack. The blood supply is blocked by a clot, and therefore cannot make it to the other side of the blockage within the artery. The living tissue on the other side of the blockage begins to die immediately when life giving blood is absent. Immediately you experience pain, and this gives rise to the symptoms of a heart attack. |
